Gillian, only four feet ten inches tall and ninety-eight pounds epitomizes the adage of size doesn’t matter.

From 1990 she began to sing professionally in Barbados with local bands including  “Rhapsody ” with whom she toured Germany, Sweden, and the United States in 2000, and with the band “Double Explosion” being the opening act for likes of Patti LaBelle, Roberta Flack, and Peabo Bryson.

Her collaboration with Ian Greaves started some years back when she recorded the song “Baggy Pants” written by Ian for the Crop Over Festival compilation CD  “Spirit of the Rhythm”.

As a backing vocalist, she is in constant demand by a number of leading artists during the local Crop Over Festival.

Gillian holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree with honours in Psychology from the University of the West Indies and is a special education teacher n Barbados.

Her philosophy is, always face challenges without denial or hesitation.
